Dwayne Ganzy was a three-year starter on the varsity – splitting time between running back, defensive back and wide receiver. In his junior season, he became part of a rebuilt offense that helped lead Columbus all the way to the state championship game.

As a senior, Dwayne led the county in receptions and receiving yards before a knee injury ended his season after 6 games. Despite the injury, Dwayne received a football scholarship to Syracuse University where he played two years.
